you already know that i read this... but, that aside--i haven't talked with you much since picasso closed, which is sort of standard. but i liked the point we reached. i've been learning a lot, and in a couple of weeks, i should be able to tell you what it is.
and chris--as you once told me "don't be stupid" you're a smart individual... take some of your own advice. :)

..want to wrap you up in small, silly, bandaids...little miracle kisses in-between. have the sun still coming in through some calmly washed window when it's been done, and..have it keep coming in. or at least turn into a nice nighttime, cool and in-between shining skyscrapers.

Yes...it seems I am a little angry about the 10 dollars....youpromised you would pay me back and instead you get two dvd's and go to the movies. Sorry to seem distant but it just really hurts that you would treat your friend like that!

You're totally right. It's sped up a bit and hiding behind the glitz and glamour of the visuals, but it's there. Good call.

The thing about AI is that you can see where Kubrick would have ended it...and where Spielberg turned it into a fucking shite sop piece. That ending is fucking terrible. Spielberg is hella-hollywood.

AI ends funny because it was Spielberg directing a Kubrick story. It would have ended at the point where the boy gets trapped in the ice. Spielberg slapped that ending on. How would you have felt if it had ended before the destruction of the blue fairy?
